God Has a Place for You

🌲On the same day the Lord made a covenant with Abram, saying: “To your descendants I have given this land, from the river of Egypt to the great river, the River Euphrates.

[Genesis 15:18]

🌲 And He has made from one blood every nation of men to dwell on all the face of the earth, and has determined their pre-appointed times and the boundaries of their dwellings.

[Acts 17:26]

God predetermined the boundaries of the land for the descendants of Abraham. We’re also told God predetermined the boundaries of every nation and the people who should dwell therein. God determined the land size of Ghana and the people to be called Ghanaians; so is it with America, Britain, Brazil, China, India and every other nation on earth. Nothing is by accident.

When you see how things are done in our part of the world, you sometimes ask yourself why at all you were born here and not there?. Things that people have taken for granted elsewhere are such a big deal here, and you just wonder why. Let’s however remember that it’s God who decided to place us here for His own reasons. Stars are permanently in the sky; however, it takes the darkness to let us see their celestial beauty. The darkness we see around us should cause us to glow and not despair. It took darkness in Egypt to cause Joseph to glow. May we also glow in the Name of Jesus.

I want you assure you that no one will take your place. Bible says, “For the scepter of wickedness shall not rest on the land allotted to the righteous… ” (Psalm 125:3). God has a land allotted to you, both literally and figuratively. You won’t lose your place in God’s scheme of things. That also means we have to focus on our own race and not be too bothered with what others are doing and achieving.

In John 21:19-22, Jesus, after the Resurrection, asked Peter to follow Him. Then Peter asked Jesus, “What about John?”. Jesus replied that what happens to John wasn’t Peter’s business. Peter was to concern himself with his own affairs.

We are covenant children of the Most High God. May the Lord cause us to inherit that which belongs to us in every area of life. May we flourish in the Courts of our God. Amen
